National Tree Day in Morwell

http://morwellnh.org.au/national-tree-day-in-morwell/

Today was the National Tree Day in Morwell, with many local residents participating in tree planting.  By the time I arrived, the tree planting was in full swing taking place along both sides of Waterhole Creek, next to the Morwell East Football club.

Residents of all ages were lending a helping hand, from young kids through to retired adults.  With the gorgeous weather, it made for a great day out to meet people, have a chat and get some exercise.  It was nice to see some dogs out enjoying the day too.

For further information about National Tree Day, please visit the National Tree Day website.  Thank-you.
