On Monday August 29th 2014, the Board of Inquiry handed its full report to the Governor of Victoria, His Excellency the Honourable Alex Chernov AC QC, at Government House in Melbourne.
From that point, the Governor will deliver the report to the Premier of Victoria, Denis Naphine, who is expected to table the report in Parliament on the afternoon of Tuesday, 2 September 2014.
The Board and Secretariat of the Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry are inviting the community of Morwell and the Latrobe Valley to collect copies of the Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry between the hours of 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Tuesday, 2 September 2014 from the Function Room at the Morwell Bowling Club, 52 Hazelwood Road, Morwell.
In the event that the report is not tabled on Tuesday, 2 September 2014, alternative arrangements will be made.
Electronic copies will also be available from www.hazelwoodinquiry.vic.gov.
